Admissions
The Language Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all
the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to all schools. They do not discriminate on the basis of race, color,
national and ethnic origin in administration of their educational policies,
admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other
school administered programs.
Age of Admission
Each child admitted to The Language Academy may be placed in grade according to their
academic and language acquisition abilities. The following age requirements
are our standard placement guidelines:
Kindergarten
The child who is five years of age on or before December 31st is eligible for
Kindergarten.
First Grade
The child who is six years of age on or before December 31st is eligible for
first grade. Prior language experience is preferred.
Second Grade
The child who is seven years of age on or before December 31st is eligible
for second grade. Must have prior language experience and will be required
to take a placement test to determine eligibility.
Third Grade
The child who is eight years of age on or before December 31st is eligible
for third grade. Must have prior language experience and will be required
to take a placement test to determine eligibility.
