Registration Procedure

Early Registration

Early Registration begins in January. Families with children currently enrolled in The Language Academy have first priority for registration, followed by siblings of current students. After a specified registration period, giving first opportunity to these groups, the registration for students in the community will be considered for enrollment. A non refundable registration fee due at the time of registration which guarantees the student a spot in the class.

Interim Registration

Interim Registration begins on April 1st and is on a first come, first serve basis. A non refundable registration fee due at the time of registration or which guarantees the student a spot in the class.

School policy allows a maximum of twenty-four students in each class, with full time or part-time instructional assistants in all grade levels.

New Registrants in Kindergarten and First Grade

All applicants to Kindergarten and First grade who will be new students at The Language Academy after the start of the school year are required to attend a "readiness interview" with the potential teacher, to be conducted no later than October 31st each year. Any acceptance of potential new students for the current school year will be on a conditional basis until the interview has been conducted and an official confirmation given.
